About Lisa Gero:

I have been a visitor to the Outer Banks since I was a child living only an hour away in Tidewater, VA.  After watching the market explode here for years, my husband and I finally got the nerve in 2005 to purchase our first investment property.  We bought the least expensive home (it didn't even have a kitchen!) in the most expensive neighborhood we could afford.  We spent our time there vacationing, renovating and furnishing the home.  Then we put it back on the market.  To our delight, it sold quickly and we were hooked!  We were then able to purchase an even better property (with a kitchen) in the same neighborhood and do the same thing again.  We continued to invest in the Outer Banks until we ultimately decided we didn't want to leave.  
 
In 2009, with our oldest daughter away at college and 2 other children at home, we finally made the leap and moved here full-time.  I had been in real estate sales for Prudential Decker in Williamsburg and decided to continue working doing what I love here on the Outer Banks.
